Homegrown brand – AMATO Couture – is set to showcase their first ever virtual fashion show outside of the UAE

AMATO Couture by Furne One is internationally recognised as one of Dubai’s pillars of fashion couture. Known for their unique and unconventional masterpieces, the critically acclaimed fashion house is showcasing their latest collection virtually, for the first time outside of the UAE. As part of a new business strategy to create more of an online presence, Furne One has decided to explore the online space by revealing his collection as part of the virtual fashion festival in Singapore, which is being organised by The Front Row.

To be showcased on the 26th August at 4pm Dubai Time, you will be able to see a stunning and visually-dynamic short film. AMATO Couture’s new limited-piece collection is inspired by the art of old architectural buildings in Portugal. This full-beige collection reveals intricate embroideries and handcrafted with traditional eastern techniques. Each piece is made with fabrics from all over the world, making this a truly world-class collection.

Continually, Furne One has chosen Buttermilk Cream as the colour scheme as this represents versatility, sophistication, elegance and softness. While the overall styling is inspired by the impactful works of Christo and Jean-Claude, such as their monumental ‘Wrapped Reichstag’ (Pictured Below). This inspiration contests to simple ways of seeing familiar landscapes, which is what the design team at AMATO Couture are celebrated for – recreating art in unusual and extravagant couture pieces.

Launched in 2002, AMATO Couture is the first UAE-based global designer brand that broken through the glass ceiling and earned itself an international stature within the luxury fashion community. In fact, Furne One has styled many Hollywood celebrities such as Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey. Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Nicki Minaj, to name a few.
