Later this month Antibes favourite, Mamo Michelangelo, is set to open in the Al Faisaliah District following a successful pop-up during the Jeddah Season Festival. A favourite of the Hollywood A-list, Mamo celebrates the authentic flavours of the South of France and Italy to bring the freshest flavours and most delicious recipes to gastronomic enthusiasts.
Mamo embraces the influences of the Mediterranean to create a mix of classic family recipes and seasonal specialities. Designed to be innovative and executed to the highest standard, the menu includes culinary delights such as delicious Burrata from Napoli, lamb shoulder (perfectly cooked in the wood-fired oven), delicious chicken and signature dishes such as truffle focaccia and truffle raviolinis. For dessert it will be a difficult choice between favourites like homemade lemon tart or decadent tiramisu.
The restaurant’s charming interior is the perfect setting for a 5-star dining experience, using old materials from Italy and Provence creating an authentic, elegant ambience. With the original Antibes restaurant attracting many guests from Hollywood, television, sport and Saudi Arabia since opening in 1992, Mamo wanted to bring the DNA of Michelangelo to the Kingdom; a place with such unique history, design, and atmosphere. However, with the same old stones, terracotta and Italian colours, the restaurant is sure to fit in nicely to its new home in the dynamic Al Faisaliah District of Riyadh.
