Dubai is about to welcome its first French-inspired beach house members club, Chouchou, set to launch in October 2024. Located on the white sands of J1 Beach at La Mer, this new private club aims to offer an experience reminiscent of the French Riviera, providing a space for Dubai’s social set to relax and connect.
Chouchou is the latest venture from With Love Hospitality, a sibling-run French group known for delivering customer experiences that balance luxury with a relaxed atmosphere. The two-story beachfront club is designed to evoke the laid-back charm of the Côte d’Azur, complete with a retro-styled pool, cabanas, and sunbeds that blend seamlessly into the beachfront setting.
Members of Chouchou will have access to exclusive amenities including the restaurant, Le Restaurant, where Executive Chef Valentin Bernigaud, formerly of Le Ritz Paris, will be offering a menu steeped in French culinary tradition. Signature dishes like Bouillabaisse and Sole Meunière are designed to be shared, bringing a communal, family-style approach to dining.
The first floor, reserved for members only, features Les Salons, an intimate bar and terrace offering views of the shoreline and a range of cocktails and wines sourced from France. Guests can expect to enjoy live DJ performances and a rotating calendar of exclusive events, from cultural talks to wellness mornings.
