This October, luxury jeweler Fabergé expands its glamorous partnership with the James Bond franchise, revealing two exquisite additions to the Fabergé x 007 collaboration. Celebrating Bond’s cinematic history, Fabergé has introduced a Goldfinger-inspired egg locket and an Octopussy-themed ring—each piece designed to resonate with fans of both high jewelry and high-stakes storytelling.
The Fabergé x 007 Goldfinger Egg Safe Locket is a nod to the 1964 film’s Fort Knox gold depository, central to one of Bond’s most memorable plots. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this egg-shaped locket opens to reveal a heart-shaped Mozambican ruby sourced by Gemfields, symbolizing the character Goldfinger’s obsession with gold. The locket’s details, including a ‘G’-shaped bail echoing the film’s typography, celebrate the film’s iconic style.
Alongside the locket, Fabergé presents the Octopussy Ring, crafted in brushed 18k gold and designed to wrap around the finger like the titular octopus of the 1983 film. Adorned with 48 diamonds on the tentacles and hidden ruby details inside, this piece exemplifies Fabergé’s signature approach to jeweled surprises. These two creations join the existing Octopussy Egg Surprise Locket and the Limited-Edition Octopussy Egg Objet, first unveiled earlier this year.
Designed under the guidance of Fabergé’s Creative Director Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell and Head of Design Liisa Tallgren, the collection pays homage to Bond’s allure while showcasing Fabergé’s heritage in crafting collectible heirlooms. “This partnership with Bond reflects the glamour, beauty, and artistry where both worlds intersect,” notes Tallgren.
The Fabergé x 007 line, available for pre-order, invites both Bond enthusiasts and jewelry collectors alike to own a piece of cinematic history. Available at Fabergé boutiques in Dubai, Macau, and London’s Burlington Arcade, as well as online, these creations underscore Fabergé’s modern legacy of innovation, meticulous craftsmanship, and timeless appeal.
