The Dean confirms 3 global launches for 2026 across Berlin, Munich and Miami

Irish lifestyle hotel brand The Dean will expand beyond Ireland for the first time next year, with three new properties opening in Berlin, Munich and Miami. The move signals a new phase of international growth for the independently owned hospitality group, which currently operates in Dublin, Cork and Galway.

For Gulf based travellers who increasingly split their leisure calendars between Europe and the US, this also adds three additional culturally led hotel options in cities that are already firm favourites for winter city breaks, summer escapes and Art Basel Miami week.

The first opening will be The Dean Berlin in February 2026. Located in Charlottenburg, the 81 room hotel is designed by Rachael Gowdridge and sits within an area known for both historic architecture and modern creative culture. Benedict, the on site bakery, restaurant and bar, will serve an international breakfast and brunch focused menu from early morning to late evening. Rates start from €135 per night.

Later in the year, The Dean Munich will open in the Westend neighbourhood with 281 rooms. Interior designer Tatjana von Stein references Art Nouveau heritage and the colourful energy of 1980s Munich throughout the property. Four bars, a new Japanese restaurant concept and the brand’s POWER wellness facilities including indoor pool, sauna, steam and spa will anchor the hotel’s positioning. Rooms start at €225 per night.

The final launch of the year will be The Dean Miami, marking the brand’s debut in the United States. The 235 room South Beach property will include an outdoor pool with poolside bar, multiple dining concepts including a lobby bar and late night speakeasy, meeting spaces, and a terrace event space. The POWER wellness gym will also feature, reflecting The Dean’s decision to standardise fitness and wellbeing as a pillar of its brand.

While the three hotels share the same creative first positioning that has built The Dean’s following in Ireland, each property appears targeted at its host city’s cultural rhythm rather than replicating one design language across geographies. For Gulf travellers who gravitate towards stay experiences with distinct personality and neighbourhood relevance, this is likely to be part of the appeal.

Bookings are expected to open in due course.
