Boghossian’s newest Palace Voyages collection is a daring and mesmerizing look into beauty and enchantment. Reminiscent of palaces lined up in a row, each gem is a reflection of the essence of fantasy and beauty. A unique journey through time and place, the collection features pieces inspired by 14 distinct palaces – from Beijing’s Qianlong Palace, spanning across continents and ending at the Brighton Pavillion. Each piece draws inspiration from the architectural and historical details of the location it is inspired by.
The 14 palaces include Petit Chateau, Persepolis, Mysore, Bahia Palace, Red Fortress among others. The Belvedere Beauty necklace, draws inspiration from the frescoes and garden pavilions of the Petit Chateau, fashioned in the shape of a ribbon and flower basket, made with diamonds and gems as an ode to the opulence of the era.
The Queen’s Papyrus necklace Is inspired by the Ancient Egyptian city Amarna, with emerald, jadeite and diamond shaped reminiscent of the frond, and the famed ‘Green Room’ in the ancient city. The Wheel of Colour necklace is a mesmerizing homage to the intricate ceilings of the Bahia Palace and is made with sapphires, lapis lazuli, demantoid garnets, turquoise, yellow and white diamonds, Paraiba tourmalines, as well as tsavorites. Additionally, the Flickering Chandelier set is inspired by the famed Brighton Pavillion’s banqueting room and reflects the stunning contrast between the room’s velvet drapes and shimmering fixtures with diamond baguette fringing and the use of sapphires.
