Luxury watch enthusiasts can rejoice as Christie’s brings back their ‘Watches Online: The Dubai Edit’ – a bi-annual curated auction of timepieces. The sale is currently live and open for bidding until the 30th of April. The auction features a lineup of 158 vintage and modern timepieces spanning men’s, women’s and unisex references with estimated to be valued from US$3,000 – $US400,000, as well as the finest watchmakers – both swiss and independent. The auction will be on view at Christie’s Middle East, Dubai from 23 to 29 April, from 10:00AM to 7:00PM.
Some of the highlights include – a limited edition Patek Philippe, ref. 5275P-001, released on the brand’s 175th Anniversary, A selection of rare Rolex models, such as the – Rolex ‘Daytona’, ref. 6265, and the Rolex ‘GMT-Master’, ref 1675/3, two rare and important watches commissioned by the U.A.E. Ministry of Defence. A selection of rare contemporary pieces are also up for auction, such as the Audemars Piguet ‘Royal Oak,’ ref. 26530TI.OO.1220TI.05, Richard Mille, ref. RM35-02 ‘RAFA’. Other pieces such as the Franck Muller Master Banker Ref. 7000 CC MB AC-WH chronograph, the TAG Heuer Monaco ‘Dark Lord’, 2023, are included keeping new collectors and first time bidders in mind.
