Inspired by a futuristic take on ancient Egypt, this collection features oversized breastplates, mouth jewelry and ethereal pieces that accompany movement. Captivating multi-color transformable pieces merge with Adidas streetwear looks to create a show under the sign of an assumed ultra-luxury house. The new collection is a result of the fusion of streetwear and luxury as the pieces are characterized by their high functionality. Valérie, while presenting Beyond the Light as part of the Paris Fashion Week schedule said it was typical of the brand’s audaciousness. “The DNA of the brand is all about disruption, about being cool and edgy,” she said. “I don’t think many other jewelry houses could do a show like this.”
Naomi Campbell closed the supermodel-packed show in the ”Akh-Ba-Ka” collection, named after the ancient Egyptian conception of the soul. The exceptional diamonds in this necklace were cut from the same 110-carat rough stone and which alone has 2,550 diamonds, creating a total of 71.49 carats.
