Vogue Arabia have joined in to support the government’s message to ‘Stay at Home’ through their own #StayHome campaign. As part of this ongoing campaign, the team at Vogue Arabia have reimagined some of their most iconic covers from the past three years. Through adding protective face masks to each cover, they are encouraging others to join the fight against COVID-19 by following all safety measures provided by the UAE Ministry of Health.
Editor-in-Chief, Manuel Arnaut says: “At Vogue Arabia, we want to instigate the message that we all should #StayHome and adopt the prescribed safety procedures so that we can all overcome this health crisis together, and more united than ever. Since the cover of the magazine is a key statement, we hope all our followers join us in this campaign.”
Many celebrities such as Afef Jnifen, Farida Khelfa and Amel Bouchoucha have joined this campaign by posting their re-imagined covers on their social media. They are reaching out to their fans to stay safe and #stayhome! Continually, as part of this campaign, Vogue Arabia have also launched a video series with key celebrities and influencers – including Nora Attal, Cyrine Abdelnour, Maya Diab, Elisa Sednaoui, and Tara Emad – offering a glimpse into their homes, with suggestions and tips on how to stay busy during isolation.
