Having recently experienced the restaurant firsthand, I can attest to the allure of this high-altitude gem. Upon stepping onto the terrace, I was immediately captivated by the view of Dubai’s skyline stretching out before me. The ambiance was lively yet relaxed, with a gentle buzz of conversation and the distant hum of music adding to the atmosphere.
The Mediterranean-inspired menu at CouCou is a journey not to be missed. Starting with the creamy signature guacamole bustling with fresh flavors that set the stage for the main course. The grilled sea bream, expertly prepared with a crisp exterior and tender flesh, was a standout dish and we also tried other complementary mains such as the rigatoni bolognese and grilled baby chicken with roasted potatoes. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and attention to detail.
As the night unfolds, the service at CouCou remains attentive yet unobtrusive, allowing us to savor not only the food but also the uninterrupted view of The Palm’s skyline. The ambiance is further enhanced by the beats of the resident DJ, creating a shift in our vibe that finds me bopping my head amidst sips of my margarita.
