Lulu & The Beanstalk Dubai
A brand new homegrown bar/café concept has opened its doors at ICD Brookfield Place. Designed by Stockholm based architect and interior designer Jenny Askenfors at BOFINK, the space is a cosy explosion of colour and whimsy. Every piece of furniture evokes a sense of play and comfort. High design was at the core of the furniture selection and no detail was left unfinished. Some of the most iconic pieces in the space include the Verner Panton Cloverleaf, a dreamy de Sede DS 600, a recycled Meltingpot by Amsterdam design studio Kooij and anchoring the space is a custom handcrafted chandelier from South African artist Adam Hoets.

Torno Subito: Massimo’s Friends with Chef Riccardo Forapani
It’s time to re-write your plans because W Dubai – The Palm’s signature Italian restaurant, Torno Subito, is welcoming back its third edition of the hugely popular Massimo’s Friends, set to take place on the October 6th and 7th. Experience a sensational Italian dinner hosted by Torno Subito’s Chef De Cuisine, Alessio Pirozzi, and one of Italy’s most celebrated Italian chefs, Riccardo Forapani.
For AED 549 per person, foodies will start their culinary journey with the restaurant’s famous ‘welcome from the kitchen,’ offering a pumpkin and black truffle dish, and puff pastry stuffed with Parmigiano Reggiano. Main dishes include Seppia, a cuttlefish salad with anchovy juice and premium Italian Caviar, Parmigiano Reggiano Crème Caramel, creamy Raviolo di Granchio filled with Alaskan King Crab, Baccala’ Fritto, featuring tempura Cod fish served with a sweet salsa Verde, Vacca Vecchia, a succulent roasted Spanish beef tenderloin and Pere e Balsamico di Modena – an elegant pear in three ways salad.
Be sure to save room for dessert because the tasting menu ends with a mouth-watering traditional Italian trifle, Zuppa Inglese, made up of bavarese cream, a crunchy chocolate layer and a dark chocolate glaze.

Beach Deck, The Ritz-Carlton, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach, Dubai
The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach is excited to relaunch for a second season signature beachside restaurant Beach Deck, inviting guests back to make the most of the stunning views of the sun-kissed shores of powdery sands and cool azure waters. The open-air Beach Deck has reopened again in time for the outdoor season, with a decadent menu of premium seafood dishes and refreshing mixed drinks, making it the ideal venue for guests and local residents to enjoy a relaxed alfresco dining experience.
The resort’s award-winning team of chefs has produced the menu using locally sourced ingredients, so that guests can experience grilled specialties, as well as seafood prepared on live stations. Dishes include Dibba Bay Oysters, decadent Caviar Vintage Sturia, whole Atlantic lobster and flavoursome Piña Flambeada for dessert amongst others.
Mixing flawless food with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, the Beach Deck is also an exceptional location to host private dining or special al-fresco events.

Life’s a picnic over at Brasserie Boulud, with a brand-new indoor feast taking place every Saturday, from October onwards. A refined and relaxed brunch alternative, Picnic C’est Chic makes eating out on weekends a family-friendly affair, with a French-inspired picnic hamper brimming with a fine selection of barbecue grillades, freshly baked breads, colourful salads, and some French fancies from the pastry kitchen to end a resplendent meal on a sweet note.
Every Saturday, Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk’s decadent dining destination will adorn gingham print table covers that bring the beloved outdoor dining tradition into the contemporary confines of the luxurious Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk. Starting at AED 195, the lavish spread includes picnic essentials, such as sourdough baguette and salted butter, French artisanal cheeses, organic cucumber salad with light cream dressing, onion chutney, home-made chicken, and duck pâté en crôute, salmon rillettes, beef Cecina and various other accoutrements.
Meat lovers will savour the range of delights from the grill, with marinated lamb chops cooked to preference, Cajun spiced chicken breast skewers, grilled Oman shrimps with fresh lemon, and grilled sea bass with rosemary infused olive oil. The thrilling new Viva Las Vegas show sees international dancers and singers from Rome, Paris, St. Tropez, and Ibiza take the stage to give the performance of their lives. Amazing music remains at the heart of The Theater, with the new season seeing singers perform the best hits from Vegas. The show is a vibrant and high energy culmination of the best elements, right here in Dubai.
A new season means a delectable new menu by head chef Fotis Pastras, consisting of gorgeous dishes such as The Theater salad with baby spinach, watermelon, blueberry, feta cheese and almond flakes combined with a rich and flavourful honey and tahini dressing. For those who seek a seafood variety, opt for the octopus with creamed potatoes, confit tomatoes, Kalamata olives and smoked paprika.
