Iconic dining spot Mina’s Kitchen is kicking off 2024 with a menu that is a celebration of the Great British seaside. Mina’s Wharf promises a range of quintessential British coastside staples, a selection of drinks, fresh seafood delights all setting the scene for the perfect laid-back weekend. Mina’s Wharf is open from every Friday from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
Spearheaded by renowned chef Nick Alves, Mina’s Wharf promises a culinary journey reminiscent of charming, pebbled beaches, amusement parks and piers in Britain. From classic fish n chips, to candyfloss, and dishes such as smoked salmon and mackerel and fresh pots of mussels with crusty bread, each culinary creation draws inspiration from the seaside.
Chef Nick Alves remarked, “With the successful launch of The Roast by Bubbalicious and our midweek Mina’s Market, we are tapping into what guest’s miss the most about being back home in Blighty, as well showing our international guests the true gastronomic delights and traditions of Great Britain. With Mina’s Wharf, we are excited to transport guests to the seaside with a mix of traditional and contemporary flavours.”
The seaside feast also features a woodfired barbeque, with a selection of seafood ranging from lobster, whole seabass, calamari, and more, paired with fresh salads. Yet another highlight is The Chippy station – serving up classic, Cajun or Chinese five-spice flavored chip shop chips and battered cod served with pickled onions, curry sauce and mushy peas.
Other attractions include The Mussel Pot, which features traditional and contemporary flavored mussels, a fresh steamed seafood counter, a selection of oysters at the Oyster Shack, and a range of Asian seafood delights at The Orient Express, amongst others. The Pier also serves soft serve ice cream, alongside a fruit crumble bar to close off the meal on a high.
