The events of this year have shown just how much we need to show our support the world around us. Australian Based social enterprise – Thankyou – has extended a partnership request to global giants, P&G and Unilever, to make and distribute Thankyou products globally to help the 736 million people living in extreme poverty globally.
You can imagine that these company executives need to be convinced to make such a bold move. Especially, during these times where even global corporations are financially stretched. Therefore, to gain their attention – Thankyou is asking people around the world, including YOU, to get involved and show the collective power of the many who believe in this change.
Ending Extreme Poverty
‘With $63 trillion spent on consumer goods each year while 736 million people are stuck in extreme poverty, we believe that business, as usual, is broken,” said Daniel Flynn, founder of Thankyou. “But we also believe that we, together with people and a partnership with one of the two biggest consumer goods companies in the world, can change this by funnelling the dollars spent on consumer goods towards ending extreme poverty.” He continued.
Thankyou offers consumer products such as hand sanitiser and personal care products with the sole purpose of ending extreme poverty. To date, Thankyou have give $17 million to this cause and have helped over 857,000 people in 22 countries globally, but this is just the beginning.
To truly create a change, Thankyou need the support of large global companies to help them to make and distribute their products on a global scale. If this partnership offer is accepted, together, the companies could change the course of history and convert millions of consumer dollars towards ending extreme poverty.
